Psychological distance and being creative

  1. That is so true. I have a book review deadline this coming week and I need to stand back and be an on-looker about it. yep! Good advice and the boost I think that just might get me started on it. And the start – or angle is really all I need, just liek getting the idea for a song, even if it’s only one line that I’ll build upon.

  2. It is so easy to get too close to something and then get frustrated when we don’t get anywhere. I think this will be my mantra for a while… ‘take a step back’.
